What to expect
India is the land of rich culture, flavour and above all, timeless wisdom.
Our retreat is a guided journey through the holy land of Vrindavan - a chance to walk in the footsteps of the great saints, hear the timeless wisdom of the scriptures, and immerse ourselves in the sacred atmosphere of Krishna’s pastimes. Over the course of nine days, we will experience uplifting talks, heartfelt kirtans, and meaningful service opportunities while visiting some of the most cherished holy places, including Govardhan Hill, Radha Kunda, Syama Kunda, Radha-Damodara Temple, Barsana, and the Yamuna.
The schedule is designed as a balance of wisdom, devotion, and connection. Together we’ll walk around the sacred Govardhan Hill, offer service at Radha Kunda, and meditate on the holy names at places touched by the presence of sages. Along the way, there will be moments to pause, share sanctified meals, and deepen bonds of friendship with fellow retreat goers - making the journey not only a pilgrimage through Vrindavan, but also a homecoming of souls traveling together.
All the while imbibing the spirit of Think Gita i.e learning from wisdom, living through service, and growing together as a community.
This trip is not just about seeing holy places - it’s about entering their mood, allowing the essence of Vrindavan to touch our hearts and inspire us for the year ahead.
“Though Vrindavana is undoubtedly a transcendent abode and earthly pilgrimage site, it’s ultimately a mysterious space of consciousness. This magical space is actually the simplest and most accessible of all experiences.
To access it, the aspirant must uncover their innermost authentic spiritual persona, craft a life in which everything connects to it, and then fully embrace the opportunity to live it out. At that time, we ‘drop time’ and effortlessly rest in the eternal present. Life’s roles and responsibilities go on, but our consciousness rests in another dimension.”
~ S.B. Keshava Swami
